“It was an honor to perform in the Buckingham Palace for the 10th Anniversary of British Asian Trust at a celebration hosted by Prince Charles last night. Also the fact that I am the first Indian to perform there was a special feeling altogether. I am looking forward to more such events in the near future,” the singer shares from the UK, reports Filmfare.
“This was the first time such an event was held there. Performing Sufi and popular English tracks with DJ Naughty Boy was fun. As an ambassador of the British Asian Trust, I felt proud to represent Indian music on a global platform,” she told mid-day.
